We offer pre-purchase survey reports to our clients who would like a professional opinion prior to making an investment. We conduct well-detailed internal and external inspections of a vessel to assess its condition and determine whether there are any defects present which could potentially have a substantial cost implication to the buyer.
We carry out our pre-purchase survey report for both commercial vessels and personal boats.
Our pre-purchase survey reports are to the highest degree of standard as our diverse team of Captains, Engineers, Officers, and staff ensures all aspects of a vessel are subject to scrutiny.
Our marine surveyor is a fact finder hired to inspect every aspect of a vessel. He is there to find out what’s seaworthy and what isn’t, and through careful inspection help our client to make an informed decision about any potential investment in the boat.
Our surveyor acts as an unprejudiced third-party participant who does not lean bias to any other participant but provide information regarding the technical facts
Ideally, a pre-purchase survey report should include an underwater inspection and a sea trial to assess the steering and drive gear of the vessel.
During a standard pre-purchase survey, the following will be inspected and the condition reported on: hull, deck & superstructure, interior, electronics & navigation aids, electrical systems, propulsion systems, steering systems, plumbing, spars, rigging & sails, anchoring, equipment, safety and firefighting equipment, auxiliary equipment. Pre-purchase surveys shall also include photographic evidence as part of the inspection report.
We offer underwater inspection services to our clients which are carried out by our qualified divers and high quality camera equipment. This enables us to asses the general condition of the hull, propellers, and rudders. We are able to detect damages to the hull, fouling and damage to the propulsion or rudder.
Removal of cordage or rope from propellers and rudders is also carried out by our divers both at marinas and at sea.
Equipment such as echo sounder transmitters, bow thrusters, inlet and outlet valves can also be checked during our underwater inspections.

The safety of those on board and the integrity of your vessel are the skipper’s first priorities. It is the skipper’s judgement that decides if the sea and the vessel are safe enough to sail. To keep wear and tear to a minimum your vessel will be sailed or motored conservatively. Our skippers have the first and final say in decisions during the delivery.
Our company will present you with a full delivery report including the complete log of the passage. Another part of the aftercare is to assess your yacht and its systems upon arrival to give you a full picture of its condition and an outlay of any repairs or modifications that might be necessary.
